Yak-23

Above are a few pictures of the Yak-23 flying as well as a shot of the kit contents (minus the templates  and instructions) .  The Yak-23 is suitable for Park and or Indoor Flying.  It's constructed of DOW Bluecore foam (a.k.a. FanFoldFoam).  This is a light weight, durable foam that is easy to work with. The Yak-23 is Aileron/Elevator controlled.   All the parts are CNC Hot wire cut.  The kit comes complete with three laser cut control horns and a fully illustrated 15 page instruction/assembly manual, as well as templates for cutting out servo bays, and battery/receiver installation.  It also has an additional template to draw the canopy and the star on the tail.  You can also download the  instructions for free on the "Downloads" page.

A great little EDF starter plane.  Flys very well indoors as well as at the park.  Does loops, rolls (they are rather ugly rolls, but rolls none the less!).  Turns on a dime and also makes for a great aileron trainer.  Reinforce the wing with some carbon fiber or bamboo skewers, slap in a brushless fan motor and watch out!
