These great little thrust stands are available because of my father.  He is retired and has a lot of free time to tinker.  He saw one I had here at home as well as looked at over a dozen other designs off of the web.  These are his adaptation of several designs.  They come with both IPS and EPS stick mounts ( 8mm x 5mm and 10mm x 10mm ) anything else you have to figure out.  The sticks are also reversible so that you can test both pushers and tractors.  These are not high tech, and nothing fancy, no ball bearings, and I am sure there is a slight amount of mechanical drag.  They do come with an adjustable scale arm so that you can be sure the length of the scale arm and the motor arm are equal and your thrust measurements are true.

These come partially assembled with instructions, all you need to build them is a pair of pliers and maybe a hammer to tap an axle pin.
